This warranty covers batteries that become unusable or unserviceable due to defects in material and/or workmanship. Warranty period commences from date of original purchase. This warranty covers the product ranges under the TECHCHG and ONMECH battery brands. Proof of purchase and return of good(s) in question must accompany any request for warranty. No exceptions will be accepted.

General Battery Warranties (Private use).

Battery warranties vary depending on the type of battery and manufacturer. TechCHG and OnMech batteries are covered for up to 30 months from the date of purchase depending on use and type of battery. (See table below). Battery warranty covers manufacturing and material faults.

The manufacturer’s warranty is available on all products. Consumers in Australia may have legal rights in addition to these warranties. If your battery fails due to a manufacturing defect within the guarantee period we will replace it free of charge. Please keep your receipt in case you need to make a claim. We will need to inspect the battery to confirm eligibility.

General Battery Warranties (Commercial use).

Commercial use is generally excluded from the preceding paragraphs. For example, taxi starting batteries are usually covered for 6 months as per the manufacturer’s warranty. The manufacturer’s warranty (Commercial Use) and any statutory obligations will apply.
